World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade allows players to boost the gear rating of an item by up 700 points and also add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you take them to the kiln.
Certain items can be upgraded to increase their stats (like a perfectly made breakpoint armour that can be rolled to use in melee PvP) and others, like weapons, do not vary greatly post upgrade and thus aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats, such as crit chance, attack damage PvE and damage from PvP. They also have an unchanging bonus that increases the damage they deal per second. Many weapons also come with a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are placed in a group. This bonus may be more than the damage that a weapon upgrade alone can cause.
The cost of upgrading a weapon is contingent on its rarity as well as its current level. For example an item with a rating of +2 will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will increase until it needs more Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.
Upgrades to weapons can also alter the stats of their base. This is usually a good factor, but it could also have negative consequences. For items that are only used in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB Sorcs, for example) upgrading them can make them unusable unless you get a fortunate roll.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to boost their stats. This will increase the defense base of a chest or helm as well as belts and gloves. These can boost their strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may reduce its value.
The upgrade template of a weapon will show the new stats it will gain after upgrading along with the relative values of those stats. This means that an upgrade from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11 attack-damage sword will result in the weapon gaining an attack damage of 3. However, the 3% doesn't mean that it will strike for 3 fewer times as it is an absolute statistic.
A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by arrows that circle in the menu for items. This will reroll an item and alter its stats but it will not reset the weapon's level or tie it to the account status.
Armor
A few armor upgrades can make all the difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive improvements in the resistance to curses, poisons fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to get through difficult areas. In general, the greater defense your character has, the more value you get from each point of health you have and it's crucial to upgrade your armor as much as possible.
You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four fountains in all, and each requires you to complete a specific side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.
Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels, and the amount of material and Rupees required to complete each will vary. It is possible to use anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for example, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in frigid conditions with a lot of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other side, can be upgraded as high as +20 defense, which means you're able to survive a battle with friends.
Be aware that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll have to focus on upgrading it for physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of a Mage. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you'll still be wearing by the end of the story, like the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you wear in the final boss fight the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.
By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to unlock some perks on your armor. You'll typically want to keep these upgrades for the weapon that you'll use to win the game. For example, the Longsword or Battleaxe. However, it's beneficial to have some upgrades for the chest armor and helmets so that you can escape some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, give a temporary effect. There are five types of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, increasing their level of effect. Additionally the effects of certain potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust to them.
Upgrades to potion require a certain amount XP. This can be obtained through crafting them on a crafting table or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion and the item's rarity as well as Mark Level.
To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. upgrade item will open an GUI which allows you to choose the potion that you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they'll provide when upgraded. Upgrading potions can be done in batches of up to five at a single time, and the XP that they generate will be added to your current XP count.
When a poton is upgraded, it will not degrade until you use it again or break the bottle within which it is stored. You can also rename the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.
There were a few updates to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. For instance the splash potions now have a duration of 0.08 seconds (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item). The table for potion can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can now be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be used in cauldrons. This is the same for the use of a potion in an empty cauldron. This will deplete the potion, and refill the bottle.
In addition, there are simmering potions made with dragon breath and splash potions. Redstone can be added to potions that are lingering to increase their effect. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, like the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket can be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an object or ornament that serves a function but is not particularly important like a trinket. In certain traditions, trinkets are used to signify friendship or affection, especially between family members.
In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. item upgrades can be purchased by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets unlike other items which can be upgraded can be swapped at will without losing stats.
The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and in the capital of each zone, and in in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.
Upgrades are a less expensive alternative to buying a new trinket. You can upgrade their trinket for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will have the same base ilvl as older one, and have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.
Once the old Trinkets are no longer usable they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase their power and value with time. They can also be traded between players, making them an attractive alternative to gold.
In general, players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are first upgraded then their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment they won't be replacing anytime soon (such as an earring or a cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when choosing the items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for a tank player, then they should upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.
Once they have become useless trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional 1% bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it can be salvaged using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still cheaper than buying a new one.
