item upgrading and Components
A specific item can be used to transform specific Pokemon. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and can be given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons, armors and other tools for gathering in order to increase attributes or other bonuses when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. The majority of upgrade components require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Certain upgrade items also come with special effects when applied to an equipment piece. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought from karma merchants or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and redeemed as rewards.
There are different upgrade components, each of which comes with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions, can be used with any kind of equipment; they provide less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions can be utilized on non-amulet or legendary ascended items, while enrichments can be utilized on certain ascended back equipment. Injecting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and put back in.
Insignias or enchantments, as well as prefix/suffix upgrades will appear in the hover display of the item, and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia could change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, such as ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel lets you add and view these unique characters, along with regular symbols like em and en dashes, as well being trademark symbols registered to be used.
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in primary stats. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats which will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by additional bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs that are available to you. You only need to apply the correct Glyph to the item you have selected. Every weapon or armor piece comes with a distinct collection of Glyphs.
Glyphs can be upgraded through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more challenging the dungeon, the greater the amount of Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph attains level 15 it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board increases by one node every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its radius on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and this is why it's beneficial to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus if certain conditions can be met.
If you're having trouble finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a number of perspectives. Each view shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by selecting an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs; Math symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling involves establishing an account on a different account to increase your chances of getting the weapon or character you'd like. It can help you level up faster or to obtain better loot, such as the best weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters that they like regardless of their abilities. This could be because they like the character's style or personality.
When you reroll, you have to ensure that the changes you are making are clean. You should test locally whether the patch is approved by pre-commit and run a Core dev check. You should upload the patch with a clear distinction to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls may take days or weeks depending on how lucky you are. To save time, avoid enemy camps that are optional during this time. Additionally it is recommended to not repeat any quests that are completed later in the game. This will save time and energy.
Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is making sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to boost your character's strength and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters, and upgrading weapons are all options. Additionally, it is crucial to be aware of the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling isn't a mandatory part of the game, but it can be useful to increase your chances of obtaining an item or character. You can use it to determine the best character or to play around with different playstyles and builds.
Sets
A set is a collection of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of the class). Sets are used for operations such as intersection, union and distinction.
Upgrades make a set more effective than it was prior to. For weapons and armor, this means it gains an increase in the base defense as well as an lower strength requirement, and an lower level requirement.
Upgrading is an excellent way to bring popular single-set items up to parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. For instance upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.
However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are good candidates for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc spec Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzlers are exceptional in their own right and don't require any upgrades. Some items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may benefit from an upgrade to increase their stats. For these kinds of products, it might be worth the cost to upp them.
